Notre Dame de Namur University Tops Wingate 17-6 in Men's Lacrosse Action

Wingate, N.C.----Notre Dame de Namur University junior attack Marc Mackrides had five goals and two assists to lead the Argonauts (9-1 overall) to a 17-6 men’s lacrosse win over host Wingate University (0-2 overall) Thursday afternoon at Irwin Belk Stadium and John R. Martin Field on the Wingate campus.

Wingate sophomore attack Bryan Safarik (Vancouver, British Columbia) had two goals for the Bulldogs.

Wingate opens Deep South Conference play Saturday afternoon, venturing to Laurinburg to face St. Andrews Presbyterian College at 2 p.m.
