The Cards Mike McBride would later score his first goal of the day to close out the scoring in the first period of action, 4-1.

The Lions scored the first four goals of the game and never looked back. Molloy led 6-1 at halftime and carried the momentum to a nine-goal win.

Goalkeeper Joseph Labella picked up the win making seven saves while only allowing two goals in his 54 minutes of work in net. Even though SAPC goalie Kevin Woods allowed 10 goals, he kept the game closer that it could have been with 14 saves.

St. Andrews will look to bounce back on March 24th when they travel to Deep South Conference rival Queens University of Charlotte. The Knights will try to improve on their perfect 3-0 DSC record at that time.
