Apr 24 -- Deep South Conference Championship: Limestone Claims Title With 23-6 Win Over Catawba
Top seed and No. 2-ranked nationally, Limestone College jumped to a 9-1 first period lead and never looked back, securing the 2005 Deep South Conference lacrosse tournament title with a 23-6 win over number three seed Catawba College Sunday afternoon at Irwin Belk Stadium and John R. Martin Field on the campus of Wingate University.

Limestone CollegeTop-seed and NCAA II second-ranked Limestone College (14-0) used a strong second half to pull away from third-seeded Catawba (10-6) for a 14-6 win in the finals of the 2004 Deep South Conference Men’s Lacrosse Tournament on Sunday afternoon at Shuford Stadium and Kirkland Field.

Apr 23 -- 2004 Deep South Conference Lacrosse Championship: Limestone and Catawba Advance to Final
Top-seeded Limestone (13-0) rolled into the finals of the 2004 Deep South Conference Men’s Lacrosse Tournament with a 20-2 win over fourth-seeded Pfeiffer (6-8) on Friday afternoon at Shuford Stadium and Kirkland Field. Catawba (10-5) also advanced to the finals with a 19-14 win over second-seeded St. Andrews (8-8) later on Friday afternoon. Limestone and third-seeded Catawba meet in Sunday’s 2 p.m. final.

Apr 20 -- 2004 Deep South Conference Lacrosse Championship Quarterfinals: Pfeiffer Edges Wingate, Catawba Over Mars Hill, St. Andrews Defeats Queens
The homestanding Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team edged Wingate University 11-10 in overtime in the quarterfinals of the 2004 Deep South Conference tournament on Tuesday afternoon. Also, Catawba College rolled to a 22-6 win over visiting Mars Hill in the opening round. Chris Stott scored the game winner for St. Andrews as the Knights win their first round game against Queens University of Charlotte 11-9. In other quarterfinal action, Limestone defeated Lees-McRae 31-6.
